Medium Easter Cupcake Cake.
The thing I love most about the giant cupcake cake is how versatile it can be. You really do get to experiment with your creative juices and there is so much one can do. Getting my hands on the giant cupcake baking tins and silicon molds has not been the simplest task in South Africa. However my determination has paid off as I have managed to source three in total of different sizes. One from the US, another the UK and the last Australia! *happy dance time*
Easter this year we drove out of town to visit my brother and his family out in the North West Platinum mine territory. I used this occasion to bake an Easter giant cupcake cake. Being my first of this theme, I had to avoid girlie colours like pink and purple. Reason being – boys dominate the gender pool in our family.
Letting my hand flow freely with my piping bag that picked this moment to tear, I purserveered with a satisfied outcome. Decorated with a few handmade butterflies stamped out of fondant- simple. I will definitely be baking more of these over time.
I Love You With A Cupcake
Nothing says ‘I Love You‘ quiet like a cupcake. On Valentines day earlier this year, I baked a batch of cupcakes for a school class and of course all the lovely teachers. Moist chocolate sponge with butter-cream icing topped with a homemade heart chocolate and a sprinkle of eatable glitter. This cupcake is for all those who love Love and love is all year round.
Thank you to the teachers for the lovely compliments, always a pleasure.
Boulder/Rock Cake Pops for the construction party.
No use wasting leftover cake sponge from the main cake when baking. I used the chocolate sponge rolled in balls to created boulders or rocks for the construction party, I then dipped them in melted chocolate and sprinkled a little 100’s & 1000’s too which were a huge success. I was left with plenty parents and children wanting more.
Pink & Blue Class Party Cupcakes.
I have been baking class cupcakes for yonks now and had plenty pleasing reviews from parents wanting orders.
As busy working mothers often don’t have the time to bake themselves, I’m happy to assist.
Here being the latest cupcakes made for a class party. Cupcakes are used as a request from the schools as it requires no knife or mess and each child has an equal portion.
Thanks to all the parents who support my homemade cupcakes. Greatly appreciated.
